Benefits of High Brightness LED Backlight

COJE developed its own High Brightness LED Backlight Systems that provide many advantages. Low Brightness LED Backlight is already very common in LCD TV and LCD monitor industries. However, High Brightness LED BLU still has technical difficulties for it to be used widely because of its heat generation and cost increase. COJE resolved those issues and adopted the High Brightness LED BLU for all of its products.

Better Uniformity

If brightness variation exceeds 15%, then LUT (Look Up Table) at a given brightness level is not applicable to the region whose brightness deviates from a target brightness. Brightness uniformity should be controlled tightly along with DICOM compliance of the display in order to achieve and deliver the best image quality. COJE's medical displays are all equipped with its own High Brightness LED BLU that delivers accurate and reliable images at all times.

Wide Color Gamut

All new optics provides a wider color gamut. Now, with color calibration and adjustment features, the product delivers realistic medical images to the intended users in various fields of applications. COJE's proprietary LED BLU design enables the product maintains its highest color performance through the full brightness range: no color shift and no brightness change

LOW POWER CONSUMPTION

LED is a lighting source which has higher luminous efficacy. But adding large number of LEDs to make a backlight unit to achieve a specified brightness level results many challenging engineering issues. Designing a backlight unit is a very complicated engineering work that requires to take various issues into account not limited to heat generation, the number of LEDs, panel characteristics, and so on. COJE's LED backlight unit is designed and engineered to deliver the optimum optical performance while minimizing power consumption.

LOWER BLACK LEVEL

Decreasing black level is more efficient than increasing the maximum brightness in terms of cost and performance, but it is also more challenging from technical standpoint. COJE's proprietary LED BLU provides low black level for better contrast delivering real-life like viewing experience.

Environment Friendly Displays (Green Technology)

Compared to conventional CCFL BLU, LED BLU lasts longer and consumes less power. COJE's proprietary high efficiency LED BLU saves more than 40% less power than its CCFL counterparts.

OSD MENU

COJE's proprietary roll and select OSD navigation system, a patent pending, enables users to access various features of the product and adjust values conveniently. Additionally, to minimize unnecessary interference while maximizing operational efficiency, the products equipped with direct access keys to access most frequently used features. All the direct access buttons are conveniently located on the side.
